Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Youth Apprentice will be assigned to various duties in the Service Department that interacts, participates and assists the effective operation of the shop. This position is part of the Skills for the Future Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship Program

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete the checklist of competencies associated with the Diesel Technician Pathway checklist
• Comply with program requirements
• Must desire the opportunity to learn the business and grow within the business
• Must treat customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner
• Helping other technicians on jobs, in order to learn

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age
• Participant in Skills for the Future Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program
• General mechanical knowledge or aptitude required
