Location: Green Bay, WI

Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: Remote

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking an Internal Auditor to review accounting, financial and operational controls to identify potential weaknesses and ensure compliance. The Internal Auditor will perform financial, operational and compliance audits while documenting processes and summarizing gaps.

Responsibilities:
      • Complete pre-defined, detailed auditing procedures to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and controls
      • Prepare audit work papers in accordance with professional standards
      • Perform initial analysis of testing results and confirm with audit project lead
      • Contribute ideas and recommendations for remediating audit findings
      • Assist project team in drafting content to be used in post-audit reports

Skills and qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree required; preferred areas of study include accounting, finance, IT, data science and/or other relevant business discipline
    • Basic understanding of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
    • Awareness of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and testing concepts
    • Commitment to obtain a relevant certification (CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, etc.) within 4 years required
